One down.....

Just finished a HUGE project assigned to me from the 'higher ups'.......and it's finally over! I put a lot of hard work into it, and if paid off! I love it when that happens! I did something different this time....I ASKED FOR HELP. Which is really a tough thing for me to do, for two reasons. One because I can be controlling when it comes to projects. I just want everything to go right. Two, because I feel like I'm putting my responsibilities off on someone else, so I feel a bit guilty. But this time, I asked for help and trusted that the people helping would be capable of handling the responsibility. Boy did they step up!!!! I felt better. I wasn't as stressed. They were happy to help and everything ran smoothly. Now it's over! Whew! One project down...... a million to go~

Has This Guy Ever Heard Of Safe Sex?

Desmond is 29 with 21 kids by 11 different women.... I don't understand why these women keep having these babies with this guy... Has anyone heard of condoms!!! He works for minimum wage and is asking the State of Tennessee to help him pay his child support.

Mike Tyson's 4 Year old Daughter Passes Away..

Sad news yesterday, 4 year old Exodus Tyson daughter of Former Heavyweight Champion Mike Tyson died after her neck accidently got caught on a chord from a home treadmill the day before.

Mike Tyson was in Las Vegas when he received word of his daughters condition in Phoenix, AZ. The former champ flew in to Phoenix to be with little Exodus Tyson.

Phoenix police spokesman Andy Hill said "Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there's a cord that hangs under the console - it's kind of a loop. Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it."

..........................This always reminds me what an old wise man once told me......."Never pass up the opportunity to tell someone you love them.......it may be the only chance you may get"

A Few of my Favorite Things

So I have to admit to everyone that one of my favorite things is E True Hollywood Story. Everytime I'm channell surfin & come across this show I end up watching it in full or most of it.

So I came across one episode that I thought my Power 107.5 listeners would realted to or be interested in. 'Rappers Wives'

Just more truth to what I always say, the industry isn't what it looks like from the outside. Tell me what you think...

t.i. performs 2 days before reporting for his Prison Sentence and the truth about his sentencing

This past Sunday night, instead of sitting @ the crib & feeling sorry for himself, Clifford Harris Jr. aka t.i. performed at the phillips arena in Atlanta.

At the concert he told the crowd, that he had hoped everyone has learned form his mistakes. He brought all 5 of his kids on stage during the show and reportedly held one of his kids while he performed "No Matter What" his first cut from his current album "Paper Trail"

t.i. was convicted on Federal Weapons charges after he reportedly attempted to purchase illegal machine guns and silencers from undercover federal agents in 2007.

Ohhh and btw, the rumor that the King of the South will serve only 2 months instead of 1 year is INACCURATE. According to Charyse Alexander a spokesperson for the US Attorneys office for the North District of Georgia. There has been time taken off of his home confinement sentence, but that does not affect his prison sentence, t.i. could receive a maximum of 50 days off of his prison sentence for good behavior. t.i. is required to report for his prison sentence tomorrow May 26 at 12:00noon.

A woman from Dallas, Texas gave birth to twins...who had two different fathers! Brothers Justin and Jordan were born only seven minutes apart, but amazingly they're half brothers! The one-in-a-million occurrence took place because their mother, Mia had an affair and conceived two babies by different men at the same time. Mama gets around! After noticing that her boys had different facial features, Mia ordered a paternity test. That's when the truth came out. After learning about her infidelity, Mia's partner, James, agreed to forgive her and raise both twins as his own. WOW!!

Komen Race for the Cure

I'm very excited about the annual Komen Race for the Cure Saturday morning! 45, 000 people are expected to participate! My grandmother had breast cancer, and I can honestly say she was the most influential person in my life. For me, the race is personal.

The event is not only good exercise, it's encouraging. Running along side women who have battled breast cancer and won. Knowing their struggle makes the problems in my life seem invisible.

I will wear my pink wig Saturday morning with pride~

Struggling tweeting on the iphone

Kanye just went on record saying that he didn't have time to tweet. This comes as a result of a number of imposters, he claims that are on twitter saying they're the southside rapper (singer, producer, gay fish or whatever u call him now)

I've found myself in the same place at times, as much as I like twitter it just doesn't seem to capture my attention as much as say facebook and yup I gotta admit I'm still a myspace a holic, so in an effort to become a better tweeter I've added a few different twitter apps to my iphone, problem is, unlike facebook and myspace that have their own designated iphone app, I can't find a iphone app that was created specifically by the good people at twitter. I've only been able to find apps created by a 3rd party, which still work ok, but I still haven't found my all in one.

Get @ me if anyone finds a one for all twitter app for the iphone!!

Facebook Friday Nights

I'm just about a day away from my new form of Friday Night Entertainment! It's not Reality TV, not Happy Hour, it's FACEBOOK on FRIDAY NIGHT! If you log on, right around Midnight, the patterns are evident! Just about everyone on my friends list is headed to a Club of their choice. Promoters start posting "My event is banging, where are you?" Or "all the ladies are here fellas where are you?" My friends post things like "on my way out the door" or "just walked into Club(such and such)." Then I sit back and wait...... While I'm waiting, there's a lot happening in the club! And in moments, I may not know exactly what happened in the club, but, I will know the effects.

Right around 2:45am, the club lets out, and I get nice and comfortable, and ready to laugh uncontrollably! Let the good stuff start rolling in.... The drunk FB messages.....

"I'm never drinking again"....
"I know I shouldn't call him but maybe this time things will be different".....
"who's number is 327 61*$"...
"To my haters I'll be at the top! At least you have someone to look up to."

Then there's the questions:

"why is it that, when you tell someone you don't wanna be with them anymore, they don't believe you till they see you with someone else?"....
"Why is it that, people pretend like they don't know they're just a jump off?"

The messages go on and on and it's AWESOME! I stay awake and giggle myself to sleep! Try it! It's free and fun! Until you realize one of the messages is about you~

So If you've been under a rock you didn't know that last week Oprah hooked America up with a coupon for a free combo to KFC to try their new grilled chicken. Well like most of you I'm sure I downloaded my coupon, but I never got my chicken. I guess KFC under estimated the power of Oprah so they weren't prepared for everyone wanting their free chicken. So they ran out! LOL How does KFC run out of chicken? LOL

Anyway now the President of KFC is trying to save face by allowing all of us to take our coupons into KFC for a rain check. So here is the deal, take your coupon to a KFC & trade it for a rain check & then mail off to the raincheck to the KFC headquarters. KFC will then send you the new coupon. But here's the deal, it all has to be done & postmarked by May 19th. So there's still time to get your free chicken.

Fourth Annual Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon

Central Ohio residents banded together to raise more than $90,000 to fund cancer research at Nationwide Children's Hospital April 27 through 29.
Listener's from Radio One's three stations, Power 107.5, Magic 98.8 and Joy 106.3 called in each day pledging donations.
