The PMC had the "honor" of interviewing Karrine Steffans a few weeks ago. During the interview Superhead talked about being happily married to Darius McCrary a.k.a Eddie Winslow and having two kids. As soon as we finished the interview, I blogged about "things just not adding up" and something seeming 'fishy' about her story.
Two weeks later, to the day.....here I am again blogging about Superhead. However, this time, I'm writing more about her 'husband.' Darius/Eddie released a video denying that he and "that woman" (as he affectionately calls her) have never been married or engaged. According to him, Karrine made all this stuff up to "sell books". Which is the reason we had her on our show! In the video, he said, they did date, and that he tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. Eddie wanted to explore his 'wild side,' a decision he now regrets.
While we were on the phone with her, she bragged about how great their marriage was, and how she and Darius had plans to write a book together!! And we believed her!! Well Paul and Konata did. But then again those boys believe anything~

I was a skeptic too, never believed the marriage or getting saved. She needed that 'born-again/I'm married/Oprah-friendly' image to branch away from her hoe persona to this "advice" platform ... I think her 15 minutes is about up. ~PC
